Lagos Wide and Close
Lagos is expected to be the third largest city in the world by 2020. Architect Rem Koolhaas studied Lagos and looked at the patterns of Lagos from afar the 'wide' and zoomed in on the details, filmmaker Bregtje van der Haak started from within the 'close' letting personal encounters gradually reveal clues for deciphering the larger picture. The DVD enables an interactive engagement with Lagos through which one can see and hear the city from various perspectives.
